The siege


        In August 1415, Henry V of England landed to invade France. Its primary objective was Harfleur, Port Royal and its form
idable fortress at the time. From the top of its 2 miles of ramparts and their 28 towers, a few hundred men stood their ground against the impressive army of 20,000 men of the English sovereign.



You will discover amazing war machines of the Middle Ages, catapults, mangonels, trebuchets and the emergence of artillery. Discover the furious battles in which a handful of men, with their bitter resistance, despite the capture of the city on September 22, forced the enemy to abandon his invasion plans and return to England. This is unfortunately on his way back home that the kingdom of France experienced one of its most cruel defeats:
